Poster Presentation

What is the best advice you have been given?
“What is the best advice you have been given?” is a socially engaged, site-specific laser cut installation. An investigation into the relationship between traditional methodologies and new technologies within the context of drawing.100 people, from all walks of life were asked to respond to the title question in their own handwriting. Their responses were laser cut into paper to create a 3.25 x 1.5 m site specific work for the SSA Annual Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy in Edinburgh 2013. A limited edition artist book accompanies the project.

This Academic Poster presentation will outline the project and it’s development.
