Biography

Curtis Bartone’s paintings, drawings, etchings and lithographs have been shown in 21 solo exhibitions and in more than 75 group exhibitions in several countries. He has received numerous grants and awards, including two Illinois Arts Council Grants. Bartone has been awarded several residencies, most recently completing a large etching triptych at Venice Printmaking Studio in Italy. Currently, he resides in Savannah, Georgia, USA with his wife and six cats, where he splits his time between making prints and teaching printmaking at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Curtis Bartone is currently represented by Printworks Gallery in Chicago, Illinois.
