Biography

The amalgam of hybridized narratives and remembered landscapes in the graphic work of Endi Poskovic suggests dichotomies that exist in life, and explores universal themes of cultural displacement, fragmented memory, transformation and revival.

Poskovic was educated in Yugoslavia, Norway, and the United States. His work is in numerous public collections worldwide, including Harvard University Fogg Art Museum, New Orleans Museum of Art, Musée d’Art Contemporain Fernet Branca, France, Royal Antwerp Museum of Fine Arts, and Philadelphia Museum of Art amongst others.

His fellowships include; Guggenheim Foundation, Rockefeller-Bellagio, and Pollock-Krasner.

He is Professor at the University of Michigan where he teaches in the School of Art and Design and Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies.
