Pictorial Excerpts
My prints originate from layers of assorted  techniques, combining etching, collagraph, collage and monotype to explore colour, form and texture. Within the fabrication technique I embrace, many considered decisions are made, as the layering process dictates the overall aesthetic value of the print, evolving through various transformative states before finally concluding a satisfactory balance of shape, tone and colour. My works on paper are largely seen as an extensive catalogue of shape, composition, weight, colour and motif exploring my fascination with this intuitive layering process.
