Field Notes
I’m drawn to the abundance of life that resides around and within us. There is the idea that humans have an innate tendency to show interest in other forms of life; we may be predisposed to focus on living things as opposed to the inanimate. Associations among species, between humans and other living beings, are complex and old.

In exploring these concepts my prints are abstract and ambiguous: they suggest both the biomorphic and technological, something both constructed and dismantled. Through this body of print work I contemplate notions of habitat, shelter, nest, pattern, recurrence, organization, and connectedness.
