20 Artists/20 Views:  Contemporary Mokuhanga
This exchange portfolio features twenty international artists from Austria, Finland, Germany, Japan, Norway, Poland, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand, the U.K., and the U.S.  All of the artists participated in the 1st International Mokuhanga Conference held in Kyoto in 2011.  There was no predetermined theme other than using mokuhanga techniques, and artists responded to the call with images of waterscapes, studies of color and light, and abstract forms from nature. The portfolio was recently exhibited at St. Lawrence and CfSHE Gallery in Tokyo.
