Biography

Poster Club is a group of artists based in Glasgow who collaborate on print-related projects. Using the poster format as an open-ended starting point, Poster Club’s primary interest is in using the medium of print as a site for experimental collaborative practice. Recent exhibitions include: Ski & Save, the duchy, Glasgow (2013); Poster Club at Outskirts Festival, Platform, Glasgow (2013); Poster Club, Eastside Projects, Birmingham (2011); Le Poster Chaud, Glasgow Print Studio (2011).

Poster Club artists are: Laura Aldridge, Anne-Marie Copestake, Charlie Hammond, Kendall Koppe, Tom O’Sullivan, Nicolas Party, Ciara Phillips and Michael Stumpf.

Exhibition

Poster Club at DCA
For IMPACT8 Poster Club will be working at DCA Print Studio to make new prints in response to the content and atmosphere of the conference itself.  In addition to making posters that respond to particular events, lectures, etc. our works will address the wider realm of ideas being explored at the conference.  This intense period of work will be used to generate posters that are open-ended and experimental in nature and that stem from the experience of working in a particular place at a particular time.
