Biography

The Scottish Print Network is a partnership of Glasgow Print Studio, Edinburgh Printmakers, DCA Print Studio in Dundee, Peacock Visual Arts in Aberdeen and Highland Print Studio in Inverness. We are a collaborative network formed to encourage joint working and projects. We aim to help printmaking reach a wider audience through events, exhibitions, residencies and participation in art fairs.

Exhibition of Prints from Members of the Scottish Print Network
We would like to demonstrate the richness and variety of the printmaking facilities available in Scotland and show some examples of the work produced in our workshops.  We propose that each of the 5 partner workshops will submit 6 framed prints plus a text panel about each organisation (and small panel with background to the SPN).  However the number of prints displayed can be flexible depending on space available.
As there will be buses available to take delegates from the conference to the different workshops, we hope that the display would help inform their decision on where to visit. The display would also be accompanied by a table or stand of printed information.
We anticipate displaying a total of 30 framed works, each with maximum framed dimensions of 63 x 82 cm
