Frans Masereel Centrum – an exploration of expertise
Frans Masereel Centrum is a place where national and inter¬national artists, researchers and graphic designers reside, meet and experiment. Frans Masereel Centrum offers different opportunities for residencies. The Frans Masereel Centrum offers a general residency, a research residency, an essay residency and a school residency. Next to this we would like to engage with the participants of the IMPACT conference in Dundee and look for interested participants to our ‘expertise cluster’ which we recently started. (see website)
The ‘Expertise Cluster’ is an online tool for artists searching for technical information regarding printmaking techniques. The cluster is a collection of small information blocks in the shape of Pdf files, text, video or links, etc. this search engine can help you find a specific topic. You can be a part of this project too by contacting us and sending your own information block. The ‘Expertise Cluster’ is a project that has to grow, information that is not available at this point can be added, suggestions on topics are very welcome.
