Biography

Stephen Black is a Professor of Art & Design at Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana, where he teaches drawing and computer art and design. He earned his BFA in Printmaking from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and his MA and MFA from the University of Iowa, USA. His current work incorporates graphic imaging, type, and figurative forms which draw heavily from interests in antique dolls, toys, paper ephemera and antique home restoration.  Mr. Black’s work has been exhibited nationally in solo and group shows and included in several invitational print portfolios.
