What is Impact?

The IMPACT International Printmaking Conference serves as an international forum for print artists and artisans, academics and educators, theorists and critics, curators and collectors, and suppliers of printmaking materials and presses. The conference program is conducted in English, and includes lectures, panels, technical demonstrations, exhibitions, and poster & portfolio presentations.

The conference, initiated in Bristol (CFPR) in 1999 is held bi-annually in August or September and to date has been hosted in:

2007 Tallin, Estonia, organised collaboratively between the Estonian Printmakers’ Association and Estonian Academy of Art, and was held at KUMU, a purpose built art museum in Tallinn.
