As part of the Scottish Print Network (SPN), IMPACT 8 will be organising coach trips to four of Scotland’s major print studios. Delegates will have the option to travel on the final day of the conference, Sunday 1st September, on one of the designated trips from Dundee. These trips are intended to offer visitors a chance to see the other Scottish print studios and SPN exhibitions.

Trip 1 – Glasgow – Glasgow Print Studio

Depart 9.30 am

Drive to Glasgow
Lunch at Glasgow Print Studio includes guided tour of the studio and Gallery.

An exbition by forty artists

Return journey with a coffee stop on route at Stirling with options to visit the Castle and the Old Town Jail, which is hosting a Print Festival Scotland Exhibition:

‘1NE4OURZERO’
A collaborative exhibition between various contributors

Arrive back at Dundee 6.00pm

Trip 2 – Edinburgh – Edinburgh Printmakers

Depart 9.30 am

Drive to Edinburgh Printmakers: Refreshments and guided tour of the workshop and Exhibition:

I HEART SCOTLAND
An Exhibition by Rachel Maclean

There will be also be an opportunity to tour the scenic city of Edinburgh.

Arrive back at Dundee 6.00 pm

Trip 3 – Aberdeen- Peacock Contemporary Arts 

( the Grampians of Scotland )

Depart 9.30 am

Drive to Aberdeen
Lunch at Peacock Print Studio includes guided tour of the Studio and Exhibition.

Artists In Print: 21 Years of collaboration

Visit to the Aberdeen Art Gallery and Museum, return to Dundee via with a stop en route at Dunottar Castle, Stonehaven and tea at Hospitalfield House, Arbroath 4-5pm

Arrive back at Dundee.5.30 pm

Trip 4 – Inverness – Highland and Islands Print Studio

Depart 9.30 am

Drive to Inverness with a coffee stop on route at Kingussie
Lunch at Highland Print Studio includes guided tour of the Studio and Gallery.
Return journey via Fort William and Perth,

Arrive back at Dundee.6.30 pm
