Biography

I am currently Head of Education at Dundee Contemporary Arts and have been working creatively to engage communities with contemporary visual art practice, print production and our exhibitions programme here in Dundee over the past twelve years.

A Fine Art Graduate with over 25 years’ experience in the museum and gallery education sector in the UK I have been lucky enough to work in institutions presenting both world class collections and temporary exhibitions such as the Tate (now Tate Britain), Hayward Gallery and Hayward Touring at the South Bank Centre, Kettle’s Yard in Cambridge and a number of local authority museums.

Print skills and printmaking have featured largely in many a schools and community-based project over the years from early years work with parents and toddlers through to postgraduate research activity and artist book production. My main role with DCA is to design engaging and effective learning contexts for, and with, a wide range of communities across Scotland.
